Sikhi ekankar(Unique monotheism)

The concept of sikhi is misunderstood by people due to lack of study and misinformation.Sikhi in fact believes in monotheism i.e belief in one unique god.
The concept of sikh spirituality is based on ekankaar i.e belief in only one unique god.The word ekankaar comes many times in guru granth sahib.One of the beloved companion of guru gobind Singh  has written it has toheed in persian.It proves sikhi is based on non dualistic belief i.e belief of spiritual one god different from material bonds
The mention of word ekankaar in guru granth sahib 
## Ang 736 guru granth sahib 
ਤਬ ਏਕੋ ਏਕੰਕਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
and then he is one, and only one. ||1||
The mention of word toheed in bhai nand lal's jot bikas
## Shalok 119 jot bikas
ਤਰਾਵਤ ਰਯਾਹੀਨਿ ਤੌਹੀਦ ਰਾ
Guru nanak is the moisture to prove existence of the Unique Primal God.
💎Sikh ekankar believes in only one god,without making duality in worship i.e worshipping any other besides one god,making association of others in asking things with one god.In short sikhi believes in non dualistic worship of only one god.Sikh gurus are not god rather slaves of One god.We will present and refute all fake claims regarding sikh gurus.
✍Sikh gurus are creation of God,Sikh gurus themselves worship one god.
## Ang 357 guru granth sahib conveys  guru nanak 
ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਹਉ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇਰਾ ॥
O My Lord and Master, I am created by You.
💭Guru nanak clearly makes clear he is creation of One god.
# Ang 660 guru granth sahib conveys guru nanak
ਹਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਹਾਂ ਇਕ ਦਮੀ ਮੁਹਲਤਿ ਮੁਹਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ ॥
We are human beings of the briefest moment; we do not know the appointed time of our departure.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਬਿਨਵੈ ਤਿਸੈ ਸਰੇਵਹੁ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਜੀਅ ਪਰਾਣਾ ॥੧॥
Prays Nanak, serve the One, to whom our soul and breath of life belong. ||1||
💭Guru nanak clearly counts himself too as a human and prays to one god.
## Dasam granth narration of guru gobind Singh says
ਜੋ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਉਚਰਿ ਹੈ ॥
ਤੇ ਸਭ ਨਰਕਿ ਕੁੰਡ ਮਹਿ ਪਰਿ ਹੈ ॥
Whosoever shall call me the God, shall fall into hell.
💭Guru gobind singh clearly said i am not god because sikhi believes in worship of only one god not any body besides it.
# Ang 925 guru-granth-sahib conveys guru arjan 
ਸਰਬ ਜਾਚਿਕ ਏਕੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਕਰੁਣਾ ਮੈ ਜਗਦੀਸਰਾ ॥
All beings are beggars; You are the One Giver, O Lord of the Universe, Embodiment of mercy.
💭Clearly guru arjan makes distinction that only one god is giver and are others are beggars.

## Ang 1 Guru granth sahib conveys Guru nanak 
ੴ ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
Ik oankaar(Almighty is only one),Almighty is constant,,omnipotent creator,has no fear,has no enemy,example of being  timeless and deathless ,unborn,self existent ,Almight

💭Clearly sikh gurus were born from mother's womb as all had mothers.Almighty does not need womb.In guru granth sahib it is clearly written about that sikh gurus are born and hence are not god.
## Ang 310 guru granth sahib 
ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਪਿਤਾ ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਕੁਲੁ ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੁ ਜਨਨੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਜਣਿਆ ਮਾਇ ॥
Blessed, blessed is the father; blessed, blessed is the family; blessed, blessed is the mother, who gave birth to the Guru.
✍Sikh gurus stressed on non dualistic belief of one god.
## Ang 535 Guru granth sahib conveys guru arjan
ਏਕੈ ਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੈ ਜਾਨ ॥
Know that there is One and only One Lord.

## Ang 327 Guru granth sahib conveys Kabeer
ਕੇਵਲ ਰਾਮ ਭਗਤਿ ਨਿਜ ਭਾਗੀ ॥੩॥੧॥੧੯॥
It is my destiny to worship the Almighty only. ||3||1||19||

## Dasam Granth
ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਅਲੋਕ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
ਫਿਰ ਲੇਤ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥
ਜੋ ਚਹੈ ਦੇਹ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥
ਸੋ ਭਜਨ ਏਕੰਕਾਰ ॥੧੭॥
He who creates this and the next word and merges them within himself, if you want the salvation of your body, then worship only that One Lord.17.

## Ang 930 guru granth sahib conveys guru nanak
ਏਕੰਕਾਰੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨਹੀ ਦੂਜਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਏਕੁ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੫॥
There in One Universal Creator Lord; there is no other at all. O Nanak, merge into the One Lord. ||5||

## Ang 887 Guru granth conveys Guru Arjan 
ਏਕੋ ਏਕੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਪੂਜਾ ॥
Worship Only one pure Almighty.
✍Sikhi rejects trinitarianism i.e it rejects belief that god has three parts especially literal puranic trinity of nowadays brahmans
## Ang 344 Guru granth sahib conveys Kabeer
ਤੀਨਿ ਦੇਵ ਏਕ ਸੰਗਿ ਲਾਇ ॥
Forsake the trinity, and attach yourself to the One God.
✍Sikhi believes that no association/partnership of any other can be made with one god as one god is supreme and making such act causes dualism which is against sikh principles.
## Ang 1242 Guru nanak conveys guru nanak 
ਹੋਰੁ ਸਰੀਕੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਕੋਈ ਤੇਰਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਅਗੈ ਤੁਧੁ ਆਖਾਂ ॥
If there were any other trying to be equal to you, O Lord, I would speak to them of You.

## Ang 1081 guru granth sahib conveys guru arjan 
ਤਿਸਹਿ ਸਰੀਕੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਰੇ ਕੋਈ ॥
His partner does not exist.

## Ang 1154 Guru granth sahib conveys guru amar das
ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੈ ਸਰੀਕੀ ਕਰੈ ਅਨਹੋਦਾ ਨਾਉ ਧਰਾਇਆ ॥
The created being tried to compete with his Creator, but he assumed this name in vain.

## Ang 301 Guru granth sahib conveys guru raam das
ਤੇਰਾ ਸਰੀਕੁ ਕੋ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਲਵੈ ਲਾਇ ਸੁਣਾਇਆ ॥
You have no partner, next to whom I might sit and speak.

## Dasam granth in chapter jaap sahib
ਨ੍ਰਿਸਾਕੰ ਸਰੀਕ ਹੈਂ।
Oh Almighty being partnerless.

✍Sikhi rejects worship besides one god
## Ang 1267 Guru granth sahib conveys guru arjan 
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਛੋਡਿ ਆਨ ਕਉ ਪੂਜਹਿ ਆਤਮ ਘਾਤੀ ਹਰਤੇ ॥੧॥
They renounce the Lord, the Ocean of Mercy, and worship some other; they are thieves and killers of the soul. ||1||

## Ang 634 Guru granth sahib conveys guru nanak 
ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਨ ਪੜਉ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਹੋਰੁ ਨ ਪੂਜਉ ਮੜੈ ਮਸਾਣਿ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥
I am not torn by duality, because I do not worship any other than the Almighty; I do not visit crematoriums and graves.

## Bhai Gurdas Vaar 34 pauri 19 verse 6
ਵਿਣੁ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਜਨਿ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਬਰਨੇ ਬੇਮੁਖਾ ॥੧੯॥
Those who worship others than the Almighty are unhappy in their apostasy.

## Bhai Gurdas vaar 15 pauri 7 verse 1
ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਚੇਤਿਓ ਕੀਤੇ ਨੋ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣੈ।
O man, you have not remembered the creator and have accepted the created as your creator.

## Bhai Nand Lal narrates in Rubaayen
ਮਰਦਾਨਿ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ-ਨੁਮਾ ਆਮਦਾ ਅੰਦ ॥ ੭ ॥
Then realize that the noble souls of God come to this earth only to reveal Him." (7)
ਦਰ ਮਜ਼ਹਬਿ ਮਾ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਪਰਸਤੀ ਨ ਕੁਨੰਦ
People of our faith do not worship anyone else (other than Akaalpurakh),

## Bhai Gurdas vaar 27 pauri 17 verse 3
ਵਿਣੁ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣਾ ਪੂਜਣਾ ਸਭੁ ਕੂੜਾ ਸੁਆਉ।
Worship except the Almighty supreme love is all false and selfishness.

## Ang 917 Guru granth sahib conveys 3rd Guru amardas
ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਦੇਖਹੁ ਕੋਈ ਨਦਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲਿਆ ॥
Do not look upon any other than the Lord; the Lord alone is worthy of taking support.

## Ang 1428 Sggs guru tegh bahadur 
ਏਕਭਗਤਿਭਗਵਾਨਜਿਹਪ੍ਰਾਨੀਕੈਨਾਹਿਮਨਿ॥
If worship of Single Almighty God is not in the consciousness of the mortal.
ਜੈਸੇਸੂਕਰਸੁਆਨਨਾਨਕਮਾਨੋਤਾਹਿਤਨੁ॥੪੪॥
O Nanak,know that body is like pig or dog.

## Dasam granth 
ਜੋ ਉਪਜੈ ਮਰੈ ਤਾਹਿ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਨ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
Do not worship the one who dies and is born.
ਅਟਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਅਕਾਲ ਕਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੀਜੈ ॥
Worship only the Almighty who is eternal.

## Dasam Granth
ਕਾਹੇ ਕਉ ਪੂਜਤ ਪਾਹਨ ਕਉ ਕਛੁ ਪਾਹਨ ਮੈ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
Why do you worship stones ?because the stone is not equal to God
ਤਾਹੀ ਕੋ ਪੂਜ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਰਿ ਕੇ ਜਿਹ ਪੂਜਤ ਹੀ ਅਘ ਓਘ ਮਿਟਾਹੀ ॥
You only worship Him, whose adoration destroys clusters of sins

## Dasam granth
ਸੋਰਠਿ ॥
SORATH
ਤਾਸ ਕਿਉ ਨ ਪਛਾਨਹੀ ਜੇ ਹੋਹਿ ਹੈ ਅਬ ਹੈ ॥
Why do you not pray to Him, who will be there in future and who is there in the present?
ਨਿਹਫਲ ਕਾਹੇ ਭਜਤ ਪਾਹਨ ਤੋਹਿ ਕਛੁ ਫਲਿ ਦੈ ॥
You are worshipping the stones uselessly what will you gain by that worship?
ਤਾਸੁ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਜਾਸ ਸੇਵਤਿ ਹੋਹਿ ਪੂਰਣ ਕਾਮ ॥
Only worship Him who will fulfil your wishes
ਹੋਹਿ ਮਨਸਾ ਸਕਲ ਪੂਰਣ ਲੈਤ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ॥੮੫॥
Mediate on that , which will fulfil your wishes.11.85.

## Bhai Prehlad rehatnama 
.Besides Akaalpurakh one who worship other God ,that person in his life wanders here and there(shows deviation),that person does not attain the stability of happiness

✍Sikhi believes the one unique god is incomparable hences no creation can be compared with creator Almighty

## Ang 348 Guru granth sahib conveys guru raamdas
ਸੋ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਅਗਮਾ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
That Lord is Immaculate; the Lord God is Immaculate. The Lord is Unapproachable, Unfathomable and Incomparable.

## Ang 130 Guru granth sahib conveys guru arjan dev 
ਤੁਧੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਲਵੈ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੬॥
There is no other Giver as Great as You, O my Lord and Master. None approach or equal You. ||6||

## Ang 358 Guru granth sahib conveys guru nanak 
ਤੂੰ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਹਉ ਸਾਂਗੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਣਵੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਾਤਿ ਕੈਸੀ ॥੪॥੧॥੩੩॥
You are the Lord Master, I am just Your puppet. Prays Nanak, what is my social status to be? ||4||1||33||

## Ang 795 guru granth sahib conveys guru nanak
ਹਉ ਜਾਚਿਕੁ ਤੂ ਅਲਖ ਅਭੇਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
I am just a beggar; You are invisible and no one can know your secret. ||1||Pause||

## Ang 220 guru granth sahib conveys guru nanak
ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨੁ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਦੇਖਉ ਮੀਤੁ ॥
Without You, I see no friend at all.
ਕਿਸੁ ਸੇਵਉ ਕਿਸੁ ਦੇਵਉ ਚੀਤੁ ॥
Whom should I serve? Unto whom should I dedicate my consciousness?
ਕਿਸੁ ਪੂਛਉ ਕਿਸੁ ਲਾਗਉ ਪਾਇ ॥
Whom should I ask? At whose feet should I fall?

## Ang 1291 guru granth sahib conveys guru nanak 
ਸਗ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀਬਾਨ ਮਸਤਾਨਾ ਨਿਤ ਚੜੈ ਸਵਾਇਆ ॥
Nanak is a dog in the Court of the Lord, intoxicated more and more, all the time.

## Dasam Granth 
ਮੂੜ ਰੂੜਿ ਪੀਟਤ ਨ ਗੂੜਤਾ ਕੌ ਭੇਦ ਪਾਵੈ ਪੂਜਤ ਨ ਤਾਹਿ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਰਾਖੇ ਰਹੀਅਤੁ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੭੪॥
The foolish people wail and weep. But do not know the profound secret, therefore they do not worship Him, who protects our life.

## Ang 401 guru granth sahib,shabad of god,conveys guru arjan dayv ji
ਏਕੁ ਦਾਤਾਰੁ ਸਗਲ ਹੈ ਜਾਚਿਕ ਦੂਸਰ ਕੈ ਪਹਿ ਜਾਵਉ ॥੧॥
There is only One Giver; all others are beggars. Who else can we turn to?
